advise作动词，主要有以下三种意思。
（1）to tell someone that what you think they should do especially when you know more than they do about something劝告，忠告，建议
例如：She need someone to advise her.
她需要有个人给她出主意。
You're strongly advised to take out medical insurance when travelling abroad.
强烈建议出国旅游要购买医疗保险。
（2）to be employed to give advice on a subject about which you have special knowledge or skill向……提供专业建议
例如：He advises us on tax matters.
他向我们提供税务咨询。
She's been asked to advise on training the new sales team他获邀为新的销售队伍的培训工作提供建议。
（3）to tell someone about something通知
例如：We'll advise you of any changes in the delivery dates.
